What is the Orders Page?

The Orders page is your central hub for all order-related information in GapCommerce. It provides a comprehensive view of your orders, allowing you to filter, search, and track them from creation to fulfillment.

Key Features:

Order List:

This section displays a complete list of all your orders, including past, present, and future ones. You can filter the list by various criteria such as store, date, delivery time, status, region, and total price.

Filter Options:

Refine your order search using filters like store location, date range, delivery time window, status (processing, approved, assigned, en route, completed, canceled), region, and total price range. This allows you to focus on specific groups of orders relevant to your needs.

The order details page in GapCommerce provides a comprehensive view of a specific order, including crucial information for its management and tracking. This article describes the four main tabs you'll find on this page: Order Data, Additional Data, Activity Logs, and Raw.

Table View:

There are two options to view orders: table view and card view. Let's discuss the table view. The table view provides a detailed list of all your orders with the following information:

  • Order Number: Unique identifier of the order.
  • Created On: Date and time when the order was placed.
  • Type: Indicates whether the order is for delivery or pickup.
  • Status: Current status of the order (processing, approved, pending, assigned, en route, completed, canceled).
  • Price: Total price of the order.
  • Customer: Name of the customer who placed the order.
  • Actions: Options available for each order, such as view order details, change status, cancel order, etc.

This view allows you to quickly see the status of all your orders and take actions as needed.

Order Statuses:

The Orders page uses different statuses to track the progress of your orders. Here's a brief explanation of each:

  • Processing: The order is being processed by the system and has not yet been assigned for fulfillment.
  • Approved: The order has been reviewed and approved for fulfillment.
  • Assigned: The order has been assigned to a specific driver or fulfillment team for delivery or pickup.
  • En Route: The order is being delivered to the customer.
  • Completed: The order has been successfully delivered or picked up by the customer.
  • Canceled: The order has been canceled by the customer or the store.

By understanding the features and functionalities of the Orders page, you can efficiently manage your orders, track their progress, and ensure timely delivery or pickup for your customers.
